Robert Lee

Hello! I'm Robert Lee, and I have been working as a school psychologist with The Stepping Stones Group since the fall of 2019. I am lucky to have a wonderful support system in my Clinical Manager, Jennifer Horos, and my recruiter, Marissa Carrillo, at SSG. They have been incredibly helpful and understanding whenever I have questions that need to be addressed.

I have been placed at the same middle school since joining SSG. It's a rewarding feeling to figure out our students can achieve their potential. I also welcome any challenges that may arise as I see them as opportunities to grow professionally. Even as I enter my sixth year as a school psychologist, I am still finding plenty of opportunities for me to learn. I love what I do and am striving to better myself every day.

Maintaining a healthy balance of work and life has been a major goal for me since I started my position. In my spare time, I enjoy running or hiking. I have been focusing more on fitness in the last few years as I find it to be a good way to relieve stress. Earlier this year, I participated in my first marathon and finished it in 3 hours and 37 minutes. It was a humbling experience, and I am looking forward to completing more marathons in the future!

This year, my main goals as a school psychologist will be to diversify my assessment tools, improve my report writing, and increase the time allocated to academic interventions. I am planning to attend the NASP convention in Seattle in 2025, so I hope to see you there!
