I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from The Ohio State University, Master’s Degree in Special Education, Diagnostician Certification from the University of North Texas, and Principalship Certification from Texas A&M University, Commerce. With 10 years of teaching experience, 17 years practicing as an Educational Diagnostician, and 10 years in Special Educational Leadership, I am equipped to support parents, students, and staff on local campuses. Thirty-four years of that experience was within the Dallas ISD.

I retired in 2011 and returned to Dallas ISD in 2013 in the position of Lead Diagnostician. I supervised evaluation staff, presented at staff developments, parent and community groups. Opportunities to collaborate with other educational and healthcare professionals proved valuable.

I consider it a privilege to have had these experiences in collaboration with other professionals, leading with compassion; efficient, effective, and resourceful. With that marvelous compassionate spirit, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, painting, listening to music, and visiting museums.

My husband Richard and I met in Columbus, Ohio, and were married September 26, 1982. They moved to the Dallas Forth Worth area shortly after our wedding. We have been rooted and grounded in their faith, since relocating to the DFW area. Many loving, interesting people have walked alongside us as we co-labored in our church and careers. Richard and I have been blessed with a daughter and a granddaughter who fill our lives with joy!
